The Lochgilphead Golf Club is responsible for a very interesting nine hole course on the rolling hills just behind the town, Lochgilphead is just half an hours drive. Other golf courses within an easy drive include Tarbert, Oban, Inveraray and Machrihanish. It is even possible to make a day trip by ferry to Islay and play the famous course at Machrie, Port Ellen.
People staying on the Ellary side of the estate are welcome to use the Ellary Golf Practice Area - 6 holes which make clever use of natural features - total par 22.
